Do you think I can publish this?

Most people on here that answered my previous questions liked it. Please read through the First Chapter ("The Death Brand") and if you like it, proceed to the Second Chapter ("The Criminal's Shoe")





Do you think this is a story people would read and maybe get an agent for it?

Getting published without a "stable" of published short stories is pretty much a crap shoot! Good luck! I like it! Who knows if you can get it published or not, hope so though! BTW, keep on working/writing! I like the Median Empire thing too! Well, I need to read it all now! If you really want some great feedback try a site like Zoetrope.com go to the writer's page. Not advertising, just suggesting!
Reply:if you really believe in your story, don't stop, keep writing and see it through. somehow someway u might meet someone who is willing to publish them :) in other words, as long as it doesn't make u neglect your work, family, spend 1 hr each day in this dream :)

You have good basic skills. Your writing flows and has good transitions.





As far as publishing or looking for an agent, I can't be so positive. Have you entered any contests or been published in any amateur publications.





I'm an aspiring writer too. There are millions of us. It's hard to describe what makes a persons writing into a popular money maker.





For every successful writer there are thousands of not quite good enoughs. You will get much rejection before you make it. I believe in time and with more knowledge and skills you could get there. However, your work isn't quite there yet.





This is just my opinion and is not intended to discourage you. Keep up the good work.
